Biography

Hannah Alpert-Abrams is a Senior Program Officer in the Office of Data and Evaluation, where she manages ODE’s grantmaking and contracting activities. Previously, she was a Program Specialist in NEH’s Office of Digital Humanities. Hannah has a PhD in comparative literature from the University of Texas at Austin, and has taught, conducted research, and led digital projects at LLILAS Benson Latin American Studies and Collections at the University of Texas at Austin, at the John Carter Brown Library at Brown University, and at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Hannah has published widely in the fields of information science, digital humanities, human rights, natural language processing, and book history.
