Gerald’s topic Native American Story Telling is a program sponsored by Illinois Humanities; and hosted by Nature At The Confluence on Traditional Ho-Chunk Land. Gerald is a 2024 Illinois Humanities Road Scholar Speaker. Gerald’s formal native name is Ho-Chunk Ska Ga (White Winnebago) and is a tribal elder with the Ho-Chunk Nation. He will briefly discuss the reintroduction of his family into the Illinois and who he is and how he came to be.
