High Desert Museum awarded $240,000 in National Endowment for the Humanities grants

The High Desert Museum in Bend has received two competitive National Endowment for the Humanities grants totaling more than $240,000 to support storytelling and educational projects about the region's cultural and natural heritage, the museum announced Tuesday. The funding will back a video story-gathering initiative and the development of an interactive web resource highlighting the High Desert's unique landscapes, communities and histories.
