Ron Spigelman rounds out the talks with his presentation of “From Russia with Love,” with selections from Glinka, Rachmaninov, Tchaikovsky and Rimsky-Korsakov. We close our season with a quartet of romantic Russian masterpieces. We pay homage to Shakespeare’s star crossed lovers Romeo and Juliet.
The evening finishes in a side trip to Spain with the colorful orchestration, beautiful melodies, and country dances of Rimsky-Korsakov’s Capriccio Espagnol.
