Stockbridge Audubon Society—Celebrating Its 120th Anniversary

The Stockbridge Audubon Society was formed April 12, 1899, in the History Center’s building, just one year after the founding of the Indiana Audubon Society. It is the oldest Audubon chapter in the state and one of the oldest in the country.

Learn about the movers and shakers of Fort Wayne who formed this chapter and the contributions that the society has made to the city and northeastern Indiana.

The George R. Mather Sunday Lecture Series will be delivered by Terru Gorney.  Terri is a Fort Wayne native. She attended Indiana University, where she received her degree in marketing and interior design, as well as Marian College, where she received her degree in business administration. Terri serves on the boards of the Stockbridge Audubon Society, Friends of the Limberlost and the Society of Indiana Pioneers.
